Cape Town - the place to be for kitesurfing!
A beautiful destination place in Hout Bay is the World of Birds
The World of Birds is home to the largest bird park in Africa, and definitely one of a few large bird parks in the world. It is home to over 3000 birds and 400 different types of species at that. You will also be able to see a variety of small animals, monkeys and reptiles that are housed in about 100 large walk-through aviaries, this which gives you a close up experience with nature.
Exhibits and Species
Of the approximately 400 animal species, about 330 are birds, which makes the World of Birds the third highest diversity of any zoo that primarily focuses on this animal group.
Definitely get down to the World of Birds for the feeding times, that is when the exciting feeding frenzy begins, and is definitley the most excitement for the day.
