HQ Restaurant

Welcome to Headquarters, known as HQ to the locals

HQ is a brasserie-style restaurant, which is well known for their excellent steaks. They also offer great vegetarian options too. I could go on about their food, but really you need to be there to get the real taste yourself, and if you have a sweet tooth, be sure to end your dining experience with a top notch dessert! They also have a nice selection of cigars to enjoy after your hearty meal or maybe head down to the bar and try a few delicious cocktails off their extensive cocktail menu.

What to Expect:

What I really like about HQ is the setting, located in Heritage Square, this restaurant has the swank of a trendy eatery fresh for New York City, close seating, leather couches, a beautiful open planned kitchen and lounge style music creating quite the ambience. Seating for the restaurant is broken into two segments, the lower floor set right next to the kitchen allowing you to watch while the chefs blow you away with their artistic flair for cuisine. Then on the upper floor, set around the bar and dance floor, people watch as the night gets busy. The music is always a hit and really makes the setting amazing.

Best Times to Visit:

Definitely a Friday or Saturday night, have a meal and then head down to the bar for some drinks and a dance on the dance floor to a live DJ playing his mix of latest and greatest hits. Great way to start a night out. Dont miss their Monday Special of 2-for-1 Meat Monday!

Tips:

HQ offers a number of spaces that can be rented out for private functions. What’s more, have a look out for HQ’s specials: it’s 2-for-1 on a Monday night and half-price tapas on Thursday evening.
